CIAE has a mandate to test, evaluate and report on existing farm machinery through commercial testing, and assisting manufacturers in developing new machinery through confidential testing. Testing facility is well equipped with a broad range of instruments to provide precision measurement capabilities. The areas of expertise of CIAE are tillage, sowing/planting, spraying/dusting, harvesting, threshing and irrigation pumps testing.
Farm Machinery and Power
ICAR-CIAE Bhopal has been authorized by DAC & FW, GOI to test and report some existing Post- Harvest Machinery. Testing facility is well equipped with a broad range of instruments to provide precision measurement capabilities. The area of expertise of CIAE are Cleaning/grading machines, Milling/Dehulling machines, Dryers, Oilseed processing machines, Fruits and vegetable processing machines.
