Brief Details Of Division
The main focus of Agricultural Mechanization Division is to carry out research and development on technology and machinery for tillage, seedling, interculture, plant protection, harvesting and threshing for cereals, oilseeds, pulses, horticultural crops and also on specialized technologies for conservation agriculture and precision farming.
Thrust Areas/ Major Programmes
The division has mainly following three thrust areas under which all research activities are carried out
- Horticulture Mechanization
- Precision Farming
- Conservation Agriculture
